Civil Aviation South East Asia Summit (CASEA) is a forum for the ASEAN civil aviation community to connect, network, share and discuss the outlook, prospectus and challenges facing the whole industry. Thanks to Thai governments committed efforts to establish itself as the Asia aviation hub and promote the East Economic Corridor (EEC) project, in the past two years CASEA successfully drew the attention and participation from governments, airlines and key players in the commercial aviation industry from SE Asia. CASEA 2018 will continue to play a supporting role to the development of aviation industry in Thailand, and address the latest challenges and opportunities in SE Asia aviation industry as well. Ending with the site visit to THAI’s MRO facility at U-Tapao airport, the 2nd 2017 conference on Sept. 27 and 28 was a bigger success, gathering 130 attendees and 5 sponsors.
