Aspect Enterprise Solutions, a leading provider of multi-commodity trading and risk management Software-as-a-Service (Saas) applications delivered in the Cloud, reports a substantial growth in its user base over last year. Software licenses for its AspectDSC market data and analytics, and AspectCTRM transaction and operations management solutions are up almost 20% over last year, and renewals among existing clients are strong.
Aspect President and CEO Steve Hughes credits this year’s growth to its affordable, flexible solutions, along with new development in physical operations. “We’ve been steadily growing over the past few years because our Cloud solutions meet the budgets of companies during tough economic times. A particular area of growth is also in our operations functionality for AspectCTRM. Our customers are adding users for our enhanced logistics and inventory features in their middle offices, and this is a direct result of our development efforts and capabilities to meet our customers' and the industry’s demands.”
Aspect is experiencing growth in every region of the world, including Africa where it has an impressive client base, enforcing its position as a market leader in the region. In Q2 this year, Aspect signed two large deals, representing one of the largest integrated oil trading companies in Africa – and one of China’s largest international trading companies.
Aspect is also seeing success with companies trading multiple commodities as it released its Multi-Commodity Framework early last year, which supports trading activities in metals, steel, oil, biofuels, petroleum products and coal.
AspectDSC, its market data and analytics portal and mobile service for traders, has grown its user base by 10% over the first 6 months of the year with new content by Marine Bunker Exchange (MABUX), several enhancements in its trading tools, and growth in mobile trends. More traders are accessing real time commodities futures and news on AspectDSC through Apple iPhone and iPad, and also on Android, with customer usage more than doubling for these devices over the past year.
