Amman, June 2013 - DAMAMAX (www.damamax.jo), a subsidiary of DAMA Ventures and one of the largest fiber backbone operators in the Kingdom, announced its participation, for the third consecutive year, in the 10th Convergence Summit. Organized by Arab Advisors Group, the Summit was held on the 3rd and 4th of June, 2013, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman.
During the Summit, DAMAMAX CEO, Eng. Mohammad-Monir Ghannam, took part in a discussion panel entitled “Broadband enabled: The broadband markets in the region and their role in enabling the convergence eco-system”. The discussion panel comprised of a group of ICT experts including, Director General of FTTH Council MENA, Christine Beylouni; President of IPv6 Forum and Senior Researcher at University of Luxembourg, Dr. Latif Ladid; Head of Marketing & Government and Industry Relations at Ericsson, Andreas Krenn; Principal at A.T. Kearney, Tim Peters; and Vice President of Orange Jordan and CEO of Jordan Data Communication Company, Sami Smeirat.
