The 4th Conference on “Urban Planning and Architectural Design for Sustainable Development” (UPADSD), follows the success of the previous meeting in 2015, 2017, 2018. The Concept of sustainable development has emerged over the past few decades as a new necessity for urban cities.
To be a sustainable city, it must be designed with consideration of the environmental impact – for example, decreasing traffic congestion and using sustainable materials in constructions. A commitment to sustainable architecture encompasses all phases of a building including the planning, building, and restructuring. Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of today and doesn’t adversely affect the future generations.
Energy Department deliverance and Eco-friendly building approaches have become an important part of modern development, which office special emphasis on resource optimization.
Accelerating urbanization is not only occurring in regions where expected growth of the population is high and the number of people living in cities is relatively low, such as Asia and Africa. This trend is also happening in Europe.
This conference is aimed at architectures, environmentalists, students in universities and engineers from all around the world to increase awareness about the importance of sustainability in urban cities, and contribute and share in the event to exchange ideas and show how architecture affects the environment.
