04 October 2011 - Injazat Data Systems ranked among the top IT services providers in the UAE in IDC's Competitive Profiles and Analysis of Leading IT Services Players report due to be shortly released recently by global IT market intelligence firm International Data Corporation (IDC).

According to IDC IT services spending in the United Arab Emirates will rise at a compound annual growth rate of 11.4 per cent through 2015, and will surpass the 2 billion dollar mark by 2015. According to Margaret Adam, IDC MEA Services Research Director "Overall, the IT services market continues to show strong growth but outsourced and managed services have shown the strongest year on year growth in 2010 (growing 10.2% year on year). We expect this trend to continue and are forecasting growth at a compounded annual growth rate of 16.3% to 2015.

"This is turning out to be another productive year for Injazat in terms of partnerships, market expansion and industry recognition. Last year we were among the top three local players, and this time around we have managed to climb to second place; we are now aiming for the number one spot via key improvements to our capacities and services. The UAE remains one of the most dynamic technology markets in the Gulf and we intend to participate actively in its continued growth," said Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, Managing Director, Injazat Data Systems.

"Injazat asserts that one of the factors that helped Injazat maintain its market edge is its commitment to quality. The results of our recertification of the ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 for example, show that we have been able to continuously meet the stringent requirements & commitment of these international Information Security and Service Management standards. It is this close attention to excellence that will continue to drive our company to the top of the region's IT managed services business," added Mr. Lari
