Al-Riyadh - Etihad Etisalat "Mobily" announced the opening of several centers to update customers' data in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. These extra centers are fully equipped, providing customers full support aimed to ease the process of updating their data.

We are working conscientiously to provide all necessary facilities to our customers, and with the requirements and guidance of the Communications and Information Technology Commission ; aimed to update customer's data prior the specified implementation period", said Mobily.

Mobily has encouraged their customers to visit these centers to take the advantage of the extension date granted by the Communications and Information Technology Commission . Mobily has opened these centers in Riyadh (Bin Sulaiman center, Bat'ha), Jeddah (Golden Tulip Hotel - known previously as Ka'aki - Kandra, country, opposite Attass Hotel), and Dammam (Dana Mall, city Center, King Saud Street).

Moreover, Mobily has opened "kiosks" dedicated to update data located in a variety of areas targeted to reach customers in compounds; In addition to the possibility of serving customers in all of Mobily's branches to update their data.

Mobily has offered 200% extra credit as incentive to customers who complete updating their data successfully, in addition to the many offers provided to customers when upgrading their prepaid bundles to postpaid bundles and thus eliminating the trouble to update the data.

Mobily is the official brand name of Etihad Etisalat, the 2nd mobile service provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Established in accordance with a 2004 royal decree, the ownership of the company is two-fold: A Saudi ownership, comprising public investors holding 20% of the company’s shareholding, while private investors own a 45% stake. The balance of 35% is owned by the Etisalat of UAE.

Mobily launched its services on the 25th of May 2005 and in less than a year since its launch, Mobilys customers have reached 3.8 millions and more than 6 millions by 2006, beating the record in the Middle East and North Africa. Today, Mobily network is in all cities and major towns. This is in addition to more than 22,000 kilometres of highways so far, covered by Mobily independent coverage.

Mobily has also launched 3.5G services on the 27th of June 2006, covering 19 cities in the kingdom. By the end of 2006, Mobily had more than 500,000 active subscribers in the 3G and 3.5G, being described as the biggest 3G mobile operator in the Middle East.
